We’ve analysed new data on children raised with relatives & friends in kinship foster care in England.

16% of children in care are living with kinship foster carers. But that's only part of the story.

There's also lots of variation. From 32% in North Tyneside to 5% in Derby.

We are campaigning that no child under 5 be housed without a kitchen. Not only are our families in food poverty, even if they go to a food bank they can't cook any ingredients they get. We see the mental health, dental health and physical health toll daily.
