This whole thing has been a tragedy from the start, and will likely go down as a historical pock mark at the tail end of the ‘united’ kingdom.

I’ve given up offering benefits of the doubt to Rachel Reeves, but the pointed use of the word ”lies” in the Sunday paper headlines feels particularly crass when it hasn’t been applied to the Prime Minister.

Following Starmer’s lead, this lot duped the public to get the votes they need for power then reneged of every tiny promise they’d made. Notice they never treat establishment institutions this way - they’ll move mountains to stick to their word for bond markets

People will need to have worked for six months to claim unfair dismissal against their employer - down from the current 24 months, but far from the one day Labour had promised during the election.

Great opportunity for Ireland, and a conference without the Yanks may actually get some constructive consensus

This year’s invite is viewed as an immense honour and due to Ireland’s relationship with South Africa.

Wow… used to be Christmas that overstayed its welcome. Now these year end lists are getting earlier and earlier.

See also the Puskas Award nominations. There’s still a month and a half of the year to go - the busiest period of the year for professional football.

18 months in and they’ve cratered any chance Labour will get ever elected into government again, and some breakfast clubs (I’m charitably assuming that’s more just getting some dodgy DVDs of the 80s comedy movie).

Now US wants to ‘drill, baby, drill’, UK & EU want to tax/tariff electric cars, Brazil has wiped out half the rainforest and the mid East continues to burn oil.
