I remember that being such obvious disinformation when it did the rounds during covid when a lot of MPs quite reasonably couldn't travel to Parliament that I and others made a bunch of piss-take versions of it.

Very annoyed that the government has modified the proposed changes to council tax to take the burden of tax increases away from London when left is the council tax you pay on a band C in Westminster and right is the council tax you pay on a band C in Scarborough

Learning about the ITV strike in 1979 and they talk about kids getting square eyes from their iPads today but people in the 70s were so addicted to their television sets that ITV's static caption would regularly get a million viewers from people hoping to catch the very moment the strike ended.

Unbelievably, the Observer reports (although only from one person they interviewed) that police have been going door to door in the village asking for people's social media in order to hand those details to an American security team.

I found this final line in the BBC article about the 365 arrested at the Palestine Action protest very interesting. I don’t think it was previously publicly known that Palestine Action was behind any action that had resulted in serious injury of a person, and if it’s true it sounds (1/2)
