@schumer.senate.gov If the shutdown would give Trump and Musk more power (as you say), then why wouldn't the Republicans just force the shutdown and not even vote??? Your strategy makes no sense, and I hope you reconsider.

It's funny thinking back to the argument that Dems couldn't get rid of the filibuster when they were in power because they'd miss it once the GOP was in power.
