My water heater died this morning but I also got this in the mail today (thanks, past me!) so it’s not all bad, cold showers on Valentine’s Day notwithstanding.

Yesterday I faced my first test of the only real resolution I have at the moment (stop getting sucked into volunteer shit I really don’t want to do) and passed. Felt guilty but still said no. (Whispering it into the void here to keep myself accountable.)

Pretty sure this little chaos agent thinks her name is “Cat, I swear to god—!” (Most recently bellowed at her as she sharpened her claws on a piece of furniture instead of any of the multiple scratching posts we own.)

The nice thing about having a cat not overburdened by intelligence is that he has already forgiven me for what I had to do to remedy his dingleberry situation earlier today. OTOH, if he were smarter, he might be better at cleaning his own butt.
