In 2017, I bought a ticket to COTA F1, Turn 15 grandstand, 3 days for ~$150.
In 2021, GA 3-day was $400. Sat in the grass in turn 1. It was so packed, I couldn't move. 45m "walk" to beer/bathroom.
I want IndyCar to be sustainable and fun. Beyond that, careful what we wish for.
