I'm not sure what you mean by editing. And personally I have never actually used wrapping.nvim. I just thought it kind of fit the conversation. It seems kind of like how git standardizes line endings for teams that work on both windows and unix. Store as soft-wrap, edit with hard-wrap. IDK, YMMV

I feel like this is a problem of a "separation of concerns." Separating "style" from "structure" is what made the web as readable and accessible as it is today.
I think using something like wrapping.nvim is a better solution than forcing hard-wraps in a VCS.
