Sharing imperfect idea for today - boats need filters to get some of the microplastics & forever chemicals out of the waterways as they go!
It seems ideal for ferries like this Miyajima ferry (it would also be better if these ferries were electric so they weren't putting diesel in the water)

I'll be with Alex Kerr in a few days and look forward to learning what it would take to do the thatch roof and bring back its traditional glory - the owner had given up hope of ever seeing it with thatch again but Alex & his Chiiori Alliance group are experts. Had a few inquiries already ❤️

Went out to see it for myself today - so much space & views in a stunning valley location & so much potential to breathe life back into this home & gardens 💓

Mama & tiki sharing food warms my heart - she's been too wild to domesticate like we did with her kittens so she was TNR but hangs around the garden to play & watch out for them for the last 5 years which seems so special and unusual for stray cats - she's a fiercely loyal little mama

Radical changes to the business manager visa system in Japan is a disaster for rural communities that have just started recovery thanks to hardworking international entrepreneurs who have settled into dwindling townships - these changes don't make sense & damage tourism/ income of rural Japan 😩

I'm impressed how quiet Amsterdam area trains are - only necessary announcements
Also being able to bring bicycles on is really useful - would be a dream to be able to do that in Japan someday !
I'd love to more easily cycle in rural areas
