I'm researching drumming for a character and I am trying very hard not to get so deep that I want to learn. (I actually wanted to when we started learning instruments when I was in elementary school but my parents insisted I learn something quieter.) Anyway, this is not method writing. Fiction, JJ!

Unexpectedly (well I’ve known for a week) alone for the day on Thanksgiving. Pie, fancy drinks, and writing a story will get me through the day.

Babycakes has after school knitting club and apparently they each get to pick a song to listen to. “I picked Na Na Na but it said it had swear words so I chose Welcome to the Black Parade and everyone loved it!”

Listening to What a Catch, Donnie always makes me think of two things 1. incredible to put a goodbye song to your band on the album you're about to tour, and 2. freeway chase to rescue a turtle in a mobile library van. (I mean I guess only @ataratah.bsky.social will understand the second one.)
