This is also why I think it is a mistake for universities and corporations to simply re-brand DEI policies. They need to defend the underlying principles (integration is good, diversity makes us better) rather than trying to outrun a fascist assault that will be trained on the re-brand
The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. It doesn't matter what you say - they will poison it because YOU said it.

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.
Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

How are my teacher educator folks guiding and preparing our students in response to some of these EOs coming down fast and furious? Collective voice is needed and warranted. Thinking particularly about the order allowing ICE into our schools once again. #ncte #teachered #immigration #knowyourrights
