Happy to learn the Visi ending in Dispatch wasn't bugged. Annoyed to learn I got the bad ending not because of my choices, but due to poor performance in the RNG based dispatch sequences the game spent the first 7 episodes not really having impact the plot.

Finished Outer Worlds 2 last night. Here are my thoughts.
Outer Worlds 2 Review
I put Outer Worlds 2 to bed last night, and I’m pretty happy with it. It isn’t the greatest game I’ve ever played, but it achieved two major milestones that any well-crafted game should: I finished in on the first playthrough, and I’ve already got ideas for my second playthrough down the road. Not beating a game on the first try isn’t necessarily a mark of poor quality.

Just finished Dispatch. My thoughts hot off the ending.
Final Thoughts on Dispatch
Now, that was a hell of a thing. I’m already planning my next two playthroughs. Mostly because I want to see the outcome of some different choices… and only partly because I want to do better on the dispatching sequences (I’m not great at those). At the beginning of these reviews, I was worried Dispatch wouldn’t make choices feel meaningful. Luckily, that was not the case.

Arrow Rewatch. Only on ep 2, and it's already unreal that no one figured Oliver out immediately. This is only one step away from Clark Kent glasses level incredulity. Dude comes back from a deserted island with tattoos and multiple new skills. Something's fishy.

I'm releasing the prose serial I wrote during the 2010s. The publisher collapsed, so it never got its proper release (or editing), but it is a finished project.
The Playground: My First Novel (Sort of)
I’ve been holding onto this one for a long time. I wrote the nine short stories that make up this “novel” from 2015 to 2019. It was meant to be released episodically alongside two other series in a shared universe. The publisher called the idea Serial Boxes. My box was called Futurepunk, a cyberpunk-light quasi-dystopia. Lee Chrimes created it, but he was pretty hands off.

New Virtual Series Page
I spent about a significant portion of my formative writing years working on projects known as "virtual series." Effectively, writing a TV show and releasing the scripts like they were the finished episodes. It was probably the most prolific I've ever been... though I never managed to finish a season. Old shame for sure. Anyway, I created a page for all my old VS work.

I've known the economy is an absurdity for a long time. Seeing people freak out about a crash in the price of items in a game like it's a thing that matters just cements that we live in a satire of a real world.

Played the first two episodes of Dispatch and had some thoughts.
Thoughts on Dispatch Episodes 1 & 2
I’ve been looking forward to this one since I saw the reveal trailer back when. The superhero office sitcom vibe hooked me right away. Throw in voice work from a good chunk of Critical Role and the writing chops from old school Telltale, and I was ready to go. Then they announced it was only PC and PS5, and (due to reasons) I only had an Xbox, so I was sad.
