she retired from adventuring after following her warrior of light to the First and almost dying from light poisoning. Now, she works as a trainer, beating the hell out of new recruits and trainees on the Frontlines for the Grand Companies.

she's covered almost head to toe because she can see spirits/ghosts and the idea of physical contact or ghosts passing through her fills her with extreme nausea and dread. having her body covered helps mitigate that.

When the calamity hit, she was separated from her family and became an adventurer for the ability to look for them. Unfortunately while traveling through Coerthas doing a search and rescue for a merchant caravan, she came across mangled bodies ravaged by beastkin and vilekin. It was her family.
