Apple just took the first step in admitting they went too wild with Liquid Glass.

Just added a task from a home screen widget and the Save is in a very comfortable spot.

Please, reevaluate the positioning on the save when sheduling for a time, people seem to find it confusing, and there’s no way to cancel to go back, only clear or save.

We also need you to fix this again.

Just one thing: The confirm button on reminders is now out of reach for a single-hand use.

Jak by řekl Václav Klaus, letos je to takové neléto.

@sketch.com One more feedback, something that was bothering me also way back in my early UX days:

The character spacing shouldn't affect the last letter, as it doesn't work well with center text (adds a right padding to the text). Figma does it correctly.

Is it possible the concentric corners don't work on symbol instances?

Here you can see the symbol source on the top, and its instance below.

I’m sorry but someone should be fired over this.

#Rant

1 - This cookies panel is the biggest crap ever.

2 - Instagram is pushing new notifications. This notification hell absolutely confirms how evil Meta is, they’ve been practicing hard with Threads for some time already. Really makes me consider deleting most of my accounts there.

Liquid Glass is pretty nice on tvOS 26, quite a small visual tweak to be honest. I wonder whether some people will even notice it.

In Music etc. the buttons are much more obvious, those were too flat in the previous systems. Less tech savvy people will have easier time using the app.

Now it's happening even on the web. It's a little different, but still the same result - the data isn't loaded

Apple refining iOS26, see the Beta 2 (left) vs. the Beta 3 (right). The contrast is back.

@buffer.com Any chance you guys can fix embedding YouTube vids? Seems fine on the web, but the iOS app gives this:

YES, you should almost never do any other alignment than left. Good to see the new messages in Apple Design Language respect that.

Ten @denikn.cz je taky dobrý peklo. Ani jsem nezačal číst a už se mi cpe něco dalšího.

@figma.com Can we get this, pls? It's actually not an unusual shape.

We used to have beautiful devices with beautiful #interfaces.

The example of icon tinting is so spot on! Never would have happened if #Jobs or #Ive were around. It’s ugly as fuck, it makes no sense to customize like this, it’s an #Android thing.

I’ve never been so disappointed with #Apple.
June 11, 2025 at 6:18 AM
I hoped Jony Ive raised good designers who would continue the craft of beautiful and intuitive interfaces at Apple.

iOS 7 - while certainly not perfect - was a piece of art. The current proposal of iOS 26 is something which shouldn’t get by round 1 of testing.

Wake up, Apple. WTF are you doing?
June 10, 2025 at 3:22 PM
I hope iOS 26 actually resolves the current visual glitches, and doesn’t just add even more.

It’s been painful how glitchy the notifications are, for example. The lack of design excellence at Apple lately is very bothersome.

The concern:

No circular icons! I knew it!
