Reds, OSU Buckeyes, and CBJ follower. I write some stuff at Redleg Nation from tine to time. I used to be a server, storage, and data networking person once upon a time.
Thank you. My mom is within a year of that still herself except for failing eyes, so maybe there's hope. ';-)

Good Luck. I am alive to type this today because I began colonoscopies 25+ years ago, and 5+ years ago, on a normal rotation, a transitioning polyp was discovered and subsequent surgery removed bad tissue too deep for the scope job which turned out to be full-blown carcinoma. No issues since.

5 years ago, I was doing up to an hour a day at 15-18mph on the recumbent and hitting 14-16K steps a day on the fitness band. I could eat about what I wanted and stay in my desired 3-5lb range. Now it takes calorie counting with the reduced exercise capabilities.

I'm down to 10-11K steps a day on my fitness band count and have reduced my speed on the recumbent bike to 12.5-13 and cut the time to not over 30 minutes a day. My weight had been the highest in a decade but I had gotten back down 5 lbs into "green zone" before these cuts. Hope I can hold the line.

Agree. I am going to show my bias by saying I think some folks feel used because Swift walked away from country music and became an even bigger star. And it rubs even more because she doesn't hide that socially and politically, she is in a different place, too.

Thanks, Doug. We knew he was sliding really all summer but he still plugged along until about 3 weeks ago when his remaining eye went south. He did not adjust well and had other nagging problems, a couple of which could have killed him at any time. The Vet said best to send him on his way now

Marion County also got a bundle of $$$ in the same handout as the Browns stadium to renovate Nationwide Arena, which the county has owned for over a decade now. My understanding of the original deal is Nationwide basically handed it over for perpetual naming rights. And OSU stepped in to manage it.

Now I see ;-)

That's probably indicative of how the project will go. I'm wondering if the Browns owners didn't step up and save the Columbus Crew MLS team several years back as part of the process of oiling the wheels to get their Browns stadium rolling

"The Cleveland Browns are planning to build a new domed stadium in Brook Park, Ohio. The proposed location is near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, adjacent to I-71 and State Route 237." So says the Akron Beacon Journal.....

The Cleveland Browns are moving off the lakefront, according to Cleveland mayor Justin Bibb. Their lease at Huntington Bank Field downtown up in 2028.

Yeah, I'm thinking a 17" laptop. I can always add an external large monitor if I need it.

When I was in Europe, I followed the Reds games via Gameday when the time difference allowed (I was 6 hrs ahead of US EDT). This was on boat or hotel WiFi which was decent to good on both. I had purchased an eSim with 3GB but never got around to trying video streaming b/c VPN issues.

On a typical day/ night now, I stream the Reds to a tablet and follow along on the PC for comments, checking the box score etc. Also, sometimes I have a 2nd window open on the PC screen (24") to watch MiLB games or read something else if the Reds game is boring.

Was wondering where you've been. Glad to see you here.

I think this was a partial sideload deal actually. The install failed multiple times downloading the files directly through native Silk but worked when the links to the files were emailed onto the tablet and they were accessed by clicking on the links from the email. ;-)

Thanks. That makes at least two of us 👍 I was "sick" for only a couple of days but the bronchial congestion would not clear. Today is the 1st day I have not wheezed at least a little bit on exhaling. My lungs were OK but essentially I had asthma. Got an inhaler in case I need it but not so far.
