You get a like, not for content, but for your Clarus the Dogcow avatar. 👍

Well, he didn't see/know about that one. 🤣

Could be collab/PD, then. My wife taught in the district until this year, and she informed me that half days were worthless for collab, hence the move to full days. It pissed off car riders (and their parents) something fierce.

Is it a conference day? Our district does a half day tomorrow and they're off Friday. Or, could be collaboration/PD days for teachers. We used to do early outs 1 Wednesday a month. Now, they do 1 Friday every 2 months as a full PD day.

Plus, 4 affordable payments to magically mix glass and copper. American ingenuity. Oh, wait.

We just did it the first time too. Others tell me it's much better than it used to be, but wow... Lots of jumping through hoops. I understand the need for security, but wow...

Well, no... an electrician wouldn't have done it but any telecom wiring person would. If only we had some sort of device to convert fiber wire to copper wire. If only such a thing existed, and could be purchased at an obscure site like... Amazon.

...so, all the food destined for other countries who are "dying" that we let rot on our docks because he wanted to gut USAID? I wonder what's different about Argentina than those other nations?

Brightspace, too. Technically it's working, but when internal servers are overworked, they scale over to AWS. That is NOT happening. Takes about 2 minutes for me to log in and access a course from my courses menu. Third party tools (like Panopto) are also impacted.
October 20, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Thanks for the Monday morning ear worm, Katie. I may not know you, but you have had an impact on my morning... and i don't just say that because my work application is hosted in AWS.

Or the LMS our university uses...

At this rate, the feds are going to buy up a stake in the inflatable costume producers. They want a piece of this action.

They do (me, included!) but I missed the comment about the CS degree. You certainly were exposed to it then. Often it's a suitable solution beyond MS' desire to sell you a surface (with a shiny new Win11 license) but it's not always the answer. But I'm one of those Mac guys. What do I know?
October 13, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Gotcha. But what if they used charts and stuff? 🤣
October 13, 2025 at 4:07 PM
* Reads your comment about Linux * Well, sh*t. I will say it's come a long way from a user friendliness standpoint. In fact, I just refurbed my mother in law's old Lenovo laptop and sold it cheap to a kid here at the university after I installed Zorin OS for Education on it.

Clearly, the voting was rigged. He's assembling a slate of fake Nobel voters to reverse this injustice. You've gotta fight like hell, or you won't have a peace prize anymore. (I'm paraphrasing a misunderstood genius)

Did they put you in at forward in the third period? It couldn't hurt!

Cuba also grows and exports more tobacco products than any other country. Therefore, cigars prevent autism. I'll get my research out there for y'all, shortly.

I wonder how the insurance lobby feels about this. Gotta dance with who brung ya'.
