This guy was convicted of smuggling nearly a million pounds of cocaine. And President Trump is going to let him out of jail scot-free? C’mon.

So much for tough on drugs. This is an embarrassment to our rule of law, and Wisconsinites need some answers.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

What a joke
Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

Forty-three days later, House Speaker Mike Johnson has not sworn in Grijalva.

I'm not pro-abortion generally but I would rather lower the abortion rate by providing healthcare and resources to people instead of laws. Making it illegal causes its own set of problems. Healthcare is not black and white.
Pregnancy became far more dangerous in Texas after the state banned abortion, according to our analysis, which found the sepsis rate for women hospitalized as they miscarried in the 2nd trimester shot up by more than 50%.

ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis is the most detailed look yet into a rise in life-threatening complications for women experiencing pregnancy loss under Texas’ abortion ban.

I have opined that local/state police cannot arrest Federal LEOs for violating state laws in the pursuit of their duties. Here's Professor @stevevladeck.bsky.social on the same topic. His conclusion: they can, but it's very hard to do.

What is stopping local police, who have jurisdiction, from arresting ICE thugs who use violence against protesters? And why are military people obeying illegal orders when they are deployed in cities that don't need or want them?

$360 million.

That's how much Americans who were cheated or scammed could have gotten back.

But Trump is dropping lawsuits that could have put money back in YOUR pocket.

When we were deployed, some Afghans risked their lives to help us. Now Trump wants to send them out to be killed by the Taliban.

It’s a disgrace, a betrayal, and a decision that endangers future US troops.
Exclusive: The U.S. government asked a judge to deport a man to Afghanistan, where he expects the Taliban to kill him. Legal experts say the case could have consequences for Afghans the U.S. rescued and promised to support.

This is striking and legitimately concerning. The president could use this to prosecute any progressive activity with the burden being on those prosecuted to prove in court that this designation isn't actually legal.

Cancel culture to the extreme.

Very nuanced and thoughtful take from our esteemed speaker.
Mike Johnson on No Kings: "We refer to it by its more accurate description -- the Hate America Rally. You're gonna bring together the Marxists, the socialists, the antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far left Democrat Party. That is the modern Democratic Party."

You'd think a senator who has served way too long would understand the difference between government and businesses.
Ron Johnson: "In the private sector, when a company is bankrupt - and let's face it, our nation is bankrupt - employees are laid off & they have to go find jobs elsewhere. Which quite honestly shouldn't be that difficult if federal workers lose some jobs. In Wisconsin, you can't find enough workers"
