It seems that MAGA wants to turn back the clock to the 50's. They like it that people of color were suppressed. They liked that gay people were not seen (they were there but not seen). What I would like to see is the taxation system we had in the 50's where the rich were paying as much as 73% tax

It is a way to have people that you can pay less and work to death and they will never ask for a raise, because they know that if they are fired, then they have to leave. It is a form of indentured servitude and causes less Americans to be employed.

I worked for many years as a software engineer. I had to work with numerous H1-B workers. The reason that companies like H1-B is that a visa holder MUST have a company act as a sponsor. If a visa holder gets fired, they have 30 days to find other employment or leave the country.

I am glad to see this reporting. This put the lie to plain view on Trumps DOGE efforts. It was NEVER about saving money. It was Trump's way to pay off Musk. If you look at the agencies that Musk destroyed, most of them had either open investigations into Musk or had oversight.

The Republicans LOVE tariffs! Taiffs are a a regressive sales tax on Americans. This hurts the poor and middle class the most. This is not stupidity, it is a plan to destroy us and make us serfs for the billionaires!

Please understand that the Republcans have always had a healthcare plan. The plan is to suck every dollar they can from us. When we go brankrupt (medical debit is the leading cause of bankrupty in the US) they wish us to die downwind. This has always been the Republican healthcare plan!

What Americans need is what every other industrialized nations on earth have which is single payer universal health care. We do NOT need insurance which is a for profit system. If we did this, then every veteran and all people would have health care.
