I imagine this positive experience helped make this student feel a sense of belonging in a world filled with folks feeling like outsiders. To deny future students these types of opportunities is inhumane. Support trans youth. Whether it affects you or not. It's important.

In my community of North Buffalo, rents went from $1000 a month to 1500/1600 to now asking for 1800/2000 for the same apartments, just in the last 5 years.
Folks are being squeezed by a generation of capitalist neighbors who grew up idolizing douchy investment influencers. It's gross.
