Kandos Museum out west of the the Blue Mountains is well worth a visit. A fascinating glimpse into rural industrial heritage and home to Kandos Cement. Many post war migrants made their home here and worked in the quarry, mine or cement works.
Gift shop tea towel printed with the design and colours of the famous 20kg bags of cement.

Werris Creek Railway Museum is an absolute cracker. #museum
Werris Creek is a fully functioning railway station south of Tamworth NSW. The museum is housed in the original Railway Refreshment Room, now fully restored. Detailed history of The Ref Room as it was known. Original Refreshments Cart used on the platform, also manikin in green and brown RRR uniform worn by waitresses.
