A basic square brown MHC that is set in a textured concrete rectangle. The concrete at the bottom of the rectangle is seriously dimpled, but just in one spot. Like a dog jumped in wet concrete then quickly changed its mind.

In front of a small concrete block car dealership painted the same color.

They just kept going, covering the entire parking lot and sidewalk, up to the edge of the Inter-American Highway, aka Avenida Cincuentenario within Panama City.

It's been a bit like witnessing the birth of a star, watching this new manhole cover come into being. Appreciate the suggestion of a halo and the leafy garnish.

The warning flag (red shopping bag tied to a stick) is repositioned. Now it's secured by a rock. A weighted box (new arrival) protects the other flank

Taking a moment to admire this trinity of public works improvisation.
Completely open manhole holding a plywood frame, awaiting fresh concrete. There's an improvised red flag (shopping bag stuck on a 2 x 2 stick) to warn pedestrians away from the hole. Newly installed red MHC surrounded by freshly pour concrete and protected by the means mentioned in the post.
