It somehow keeps getting worse.

Charlie Kirk himself did this.

Here’s the roll call on the actual amendment to remove the Israeli defense funding. She voted nay, meaning she voted to keep the funding in the bill that went on to (inevitably) pass.

Gaza was leveled with American bombs! Trans people are losing their medical care and access to public life!

If you abandon people and/or their family and friends to suffer and die they’re not gonna vote for you, what part of this are all of you not understanding!

Congressman Jared Golden (D-ME) loves the tarriffs, writing, “What I can say now is I’m pleased the president is building his tariff agenda on the foundation of a universal 10 percent tariff like the one I proposed in the BUILT USA Act.”

Made a post, was corrected, deleted the original post because folks started reacting to it without noticing the correction.

Jared Golden is right on this in the sense that electing him means having an alleged Democrat giving Trump’s antidemocratic agenda a bipartisan veneer. He voted for the NDAA and supports tariffs too.

I won’t be fooled by this Trump Democrat again.

Can’t forget Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) who not only voted to pass this legislation in the House but said this, as if his constituents didn’t just elect *him*, the alleged Democrat.

I don’t know if you’re illiterate or you’re trying to gaslight me. But yes I fucking did read that, and I also read the part where no judge issued an injunction against enforcing the policy, the TRO only applied to the handful of trans folks who sued in that case.

He knows it’s us who’ll pay it, but he thinks we should suck it up and deal with being poorer! Easy for him to say when he makes more than three times the median salary in Lewiston. t.co/7OqmGPCegW

I said the same to my congressman (Golden) and he apparently disagrees that it violates due process!

It would’ve cost $0 for Joe Biden to have done this, but he let Trump score a free win with the youths instead.
January 19, 2025 at 6:26 PM
I’d be willing to consider giving these reporters the benefit of the doubt, but the American public’s outright majority opposition to many Trump policies gets buried under these pluralities every time. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence!
January 19, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Notably, same poll found a majority believe they’ll be better off financially in 2025 than 2024, but that Trump’s financial policies will either not affect them or make them worse off.

Seems like people are optimistic *despite* Trump, not because of him.

Democrat politicians’ refusal to engage in the public fight for trans rights has allowed conservatives to annihilate public support for sports participation and access to gender affirming care across the board.
January 19, 2025 at 2:21 AM
“A little more than half of the country” supports deporting “everyone living in the U.S.” statement is more than a little misleading: A plurality of Independents and a majority of Democrats are opposed.

Republicans are just more united on this than their opposition is.
