My plea to reporters is to not call it the Department of Government Efficiency. It is not a Department. It is almost certainly going to a Federal Advisory Committee, and it is very important that reporters accurately convey that Vivek and Elon are working on an advisory committee.

So, so many systemic things had to happen to get us here.
Blame the voters all you want, the system utterly failed at protecting us from voters even having the chance to bring someone like this *back* into power.
The system was always authoritarian. Now it’s just been fully realized.
