The irony here is that if it weren’t for McConnell’s manipulative scheming, Garland would be sitting on the Supreme Court, and maybe an AG with the balls to do what Garland wouldn’t do would have been appointed instead. So I blame McConnell twice. He’s such a slimy weasel.

Makes sense. I think in reality many dems are vocal. But the reality is that they have almost no power. All they have is their voices. I wish more could figure out how to amplify their voices in every way possible like Bernie, AOC, Crockett, Chris Murphy etc.
All of them have a strong SM presence.

I’m from WI, but moved to VT 16 years ago. But I’m here visiting my family now. The state has changed dramatically. It’ll always be home, but doesn’t always make me proud. You did though in the last 2 Supreme Court elections!

It’s hard to rank the 3 worst politicians to ever come out of WI. I’d say 1) Johnson 2) McCarthy 3) Walker. But I’m open to debate!

My husband is an NIH funded scientist at a university. He’s waiting to see if his most recent grant will be funded. He’s not optimistic, unfortunately.

I respected Jake Tapper. But this book he collaborated on is so infuriating. I don’t think that the narrative about Biden’s cognition is entirely false. But they’re only focusing on it to deflect from Trump not being able to complete 1 coherent sentence. Tapper gave them a gift.

This thread just sparked an idea: A White House edition of the game Clue, and one of the weapons would be a cheeseburger. Clue is owned by Hasbro, but I bet they’d license it to Mattel just for this special edition 😏
