I have heard from multiple sources that President Trump is putting in an emergency FedEx Office order to make visual aids for tonight’s Oval Office address explaining the difference between pedophilia and ephebophilia.

Yeah, I hear ya, but Cameron can do what he wants and everyone will say "yes, sir!"

We're also in a world of ancillary products now -- AMC popcorn buckets & such -- more shit to sell.

Intermission = Intermi$$ion
The argument I always hear is that it would impact the number of screenings per day, but I have to think that matters more to the studio than the theater (who, as you say, should make up their difference in concessions sales)

They say the new AVATAR is 3hr 15min. Historically there have been many shorter films with an intermission. A movie that long needs an intermission. Maybe Na'vi can go that long without taking a whizz, but I can not. Theaters make more $ on popcorn sales, too. Cameron is being a putz. Am I wrong?

I better launch another podcast about a minimally popular, 50-year-old cartoon strip in order to make up for my financial losses.

It's so cold out.

Yet I must leave the warmth of my home.

I must retrieve today's Asbury Park Press, so I can explain today's Ziggy to @pizzaatmcds.bsky.social.

This is the wisecrackin' albatross around my neck.

Paramount+'s local news options has introduced me to Baltimore's Marty Bass and WHERE'S MARTY? in which an alter kaker just goes to a new place each day and looks around.

Can anyone from the Baltimore area fill me in with some Where's Marty lore?

Of the 900,000 pages Robert Caro has written about LBJ, how many of them are dedicated to the Vesuvian belch he ripped out over the phone when ordering slacks.

The McRib is 44 years old this month. People's opinion on this pork sandwich from McDonald's may vary, but its history is a fun mix of food science, resource scarcity, and commerce. It was a fun subject to write about.

I've been happy to see all the Meg White reconsideration, in conjunction with The White Stripes entering the RnR HoF. The very first "For Our Consideration" column in The AV Club, back in 2011, was inspired by Meg and Jack dissolving their creative partnership. www.avclub.com/why-meg-whit...
