Getting our kindles ready!
I’m adding six new books this year. Every 6th-grader gets a loaded kindle (now with 146 books!) to take home for the summer, so they still have something to read if they can’t get to the library. Another way to break down literacy barriers!

When my debut (THE END) came out in 2022, I had a book signing/meet the author event at a bookstore. Two hours and only ONE child came.
He was incredible. So excited to talk to an author and share ideas. That event was 100% worth it. I still think about him and hope he’s doing well. #kidlit

1. Share their posts
2. Talk about their #books
3. Request their books at the #library
4. Send cash money in unmarked bills
5. Review their books on Amazon and elsewhere (shop local if possible)
5. Construct an effigy in their honor
