Update: I gave up on the blue goop in favour of a normal beer.

This is the most insane beer I have ever had. Can you even call it a beer???

My husband got me the tiny flowers Lego set for my birthday. I love how some of the classic pieces are reused—e.g. flat newsboy caps for Jade plant leaves!

I suppose I'm a bit of a chaos gardener, didn't know there was a term for it! I am limited to containers but love just trying stuff, seeing what happens, and being delighted by surprises like my nemesia and violas from last year self-seeding 🌱🌸🤩

Though, an update from the authors who did the benchmarking shows Gemini 2.5 has made some good progress.

Spring 🌼 🌱

Spring flowers are popping up in my garden. They remind me each morning of beauty in the world, despite the trashfire which is the news lately.

Nice post! I had a similar frustration when I helped run a workshop a few years back—the big names you find easily from cogsci are all white men. My co-organizers and I put some effort into making at least a slightly more gender diverse list...

32. The whole Zelda franchise in general, but Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild in particular. OoT was one of the first games I played all the way through (many years after its release, when I was in college) and BoTW was majestic. Both are masterpieces and have stuck with me.

30. Spirit Island, a collaborative board game where you play spirits trying to oust colonizers from your island. A much lower learning curve than Gloomhaven and really fun to play.

28. Our Bakfiets. It is fantastic for taking our daughter around town or making big trips to the store. Almost completely removes the need for us to have a car.

27. Cream and/or egg based desserts. Creme brulee, cannoli (ok technically cheese, not cream, but still fits the category), flan, strawberries and cream, tiramisu, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, ... 🤤
