I attended Mark Merlino's funeral, virtually albeit, but I was still there. The last conversation me and him had was about this division in the fandom, and him considering a mutual apology with Kage, for the good of the fandom. He refused.

Kage has support Project Dogbomb since it's inception, getting it significant attention through his own following and AC.

Ignoring all of that because of decades-old beef is childish, an indication of someone utterly unable to let go of the past.

He's run the Anthrocon auction for 28 years, and Anthrocon itself for 20+ years. Through this he's established amazing ties with the city of Pittsburgh, helping Furried as a whole have a better reputation in the east coast.

Here's a record of some amazing things Kage has done;

$500k USD to charities since 2006, just from Anthrocon.

Raised $21k to help a small business owner in the Pittsburgh area, (they sadly ended up closing down anyways, but the replacement has also been a friend to the Furs!

This is lasting salt from Kage's reluctance to throw out an old friend, pre-2016.
