The Cramond Lioness - discovered in 1997 at the mouth of the River Almond at Cramond in Edinburgh. The Roman sculpture was possibly part of a memorial connected to the nearby Roman fort. Now part of the collections at the National Museum of Scotland.📸 My own #FindsFriday

A remarkably well-preserved 3,400 year-old linen tunic with contrasting bands around the neckline and along the side edges.

It belonged to an ancient Egyptian official named Kha. Excavated from Theban Tomb TT8 at Deir el-Medina in 1906.
