This is how we never come back from this. Whether we ever have an election again is a moot point once we seal the deal on climate collapse. We are all going to have to step up in ways that will be very uncomfortable and terrifying.

The Ruby Crowned Kinglet that has been one of the few sources of beauty & goodness around here lately. Today a neighbor's cat killed it. What if I let my dog roam the neighborhood killing people's cats and then said "it's in their nature." Please selfish humans, keep your fucking cats indoors.

The illegality of pausing funds already allocated by Congress is not "questionable." It's not a matter of opinion. It's right there in the Impoundment Control Act. I'll help you: "White House illegally pauses federal funds without congressional approval."

I am horrified & at a complete loss over Gaza (and now Lebanon & beyond). I cannot think of a single way that withholding my vote (or voting third party) will help anyone on the ground in those places, ever. Your vote isn't a love letter, it's a chess move, a fire extinguisher, a sand bag. #vote
