What’s happening right now at Columbia U. reminds me so much of the 1970s US-backed Marcos Dictatorship playbook. My father was a prominent pro-democracy student activist who saw many of his friends taken away in the same fashion.

It’s truly alarming to see this unfold in real time in 2025.

It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.
