This was more than a little cool—the sky was alive tonight in Boston. #aurora #northernlights

Likely hundreds of times I've traversed the main corridor of the Sheraton in #Boston, as a shortcut between some combo of Back Bay, the Prudential mall, Hynes Station, and St Cecelia's.

This week, I finally got to attend a function at the hotel, @massdot.bsky.social's Moving Together conference!

It’s 22:37 at Dodger Stadium, and “Shipping Up to Boston” is heard playing on the PA.

The Red Sox are nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, it’s 01:37 over here in Boston. Time for bed.

Boston. Wow.

I thought I was running awfully late to the party earlier, but this was the scene inside the #MBTA Red Line around 1:45—AFTER I couldn‘t fit inside the first two cars. #Boston #CambMA #NoKings #MoreTrains

Heartbroken by news of yet another senseless act of violence this morning at a house of worship. No American should ever fear for their safety - least of all when gathering peacefully to pray - and yet tragedies like this have become frequent.

🚊🌙 Your friendly reminder that MBTA subway service runs until at least 1:45 AM tonight (and every Friday and Saturday now), with selected major bus routes also running until then!

💸 Plus, all MBTA service is free after 9 PM tonight, October 3rd, and October 4th.

It's my neighborhood's weekend to shine at the 100th Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas & Damian in #Cambridge! From food to processions and live music, it's a chiller, homely version of the better-known North End feasts.

Final day is today—come out once the rain clears up! #CambMA #StreetsAreForPeople

Speaking of the Acela, I’ve embarrassingly never stepped aboard one before—old or “NextGen”.

But that ends tonight, as I have a ticket from New York to Boston. Problem is…I woke up this morning in Boston. So what’s the worst way for me to fix this…? #TravelLog

NextGen Acela Day 1 vibes yesterday. TBH, without riding it, the interior looks like any typical, European high-speed rail train—that’s a good thing! #Amtrak

Frey: And don't just say, this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying. It was the first week of school. They were in a church.

Just summertime in the city. Boston, that is...

"STOP" means STOP, as do red traffic lights. They should plaster this on billboards everywhere...

Though, "NO TURN ON RED" is probably the better sign that stands to be adopted universally. Which, to be fair, Cambridge and parts of Boston and generally very good about.

35 years ago today, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was enacted. Earlier this week, numerous groups, including the MBTA, rallied and marched in Boston to mark the milestone and raise the alarm amid looming threats to essential federal programs.

#DisabilityRights are #CivilRights.

Spent the afternoon at Cambridge's first-ever Porchfest. Great to see people turn out for summer tunes in the streets, even if the weather was a tad toasty.

Hoping to see this expand to more parts of #CambMA in future iterations!

Tonight, I'll go home and sleep in my bed. I have a lawyer, I'll get due process.

But Edgardo, whose arm was ripped from mine by ICE agents, has none of those things.

That's why I'll keep coming back to court, week after week, to make sure that people's rights are protected.

This video, better than stills, illustrates just how many people marched in Boston yesterday.

City hall plaza, filled from the JFK federal building, stretching across Cambridge St and all the way down Tremont St to Boylston.

Today, the @mbta.com marked the year 2025 as the one restoring rail service between the South Coast and Boston—unlocking new paths (literally) and opportunities for the people of Taunton, Freetown, Fall River, and New Bedford.

A bit of rain this morning, but nowhere near enough to deter the crowds!
