It was my first time playing yarn chicken and I won 🏆
A fisherman’s ribbed scarf has been a more appropriate early project (my second knit item). #knitsky
An in-progress grey knit scarf (fisherman’s ribbing) currently on a pink metallic Susan Bates needle. A left over thread of about 2 inches hangs near the end of the needle and where a new skein will be incorporated. The background is of a dark red, gold, and burnt orange table mat and a wooden kitchen table.

Aaaand now I just have to weave in the ends and learn how to block this. So many mistakes made, it barely looks like the pattern 🫣 But my tension improved and the mistakes decreased with each pattern rep.

I learned a thing today! Finally made it to binding off my first #knitting project, and it ended on purple (the color of the week for WIP on #knitsky )

I have been crocheting for a few years off and on, but as of a week ago, I finally purchased some knitting supplies. Working on how to cast on the stitches, but wow, there’s so much new lingo to learn! 😵‍💫 What are some of your best go-tos for tutorials? #knit (sharing my latest #crochet proj!)
