The lurching horror of our national immigration narrative is on full display today. Even two years ago, I believe almost all media would have framed the victims of the Afghan leak as allies to whom we have a duty of care. In the Mail today, they are ‘migrants’ being ‘smuggled’ in to the country.

Musk could’ve flown to a country like Uganda to see for himself USAID’s work providing medicine to people with HIV or feeding refugees from South Sudan.

“Instead, he drew on the counsel of internet trolls & staffed DOGE with lackeys who were similarly ignorant.”

There isn’t published evidence that America has spent 350 billion. Official papers suggest around half of that, much of which was spent in America not Ukraine. Europe says it has spent more. Zelenskyy polls lower than he did two years ago but still high and higher than Trump in America.

I’ve just emailed my MP about the new report commissioned by Best for Britain - it shows that deep trade alignment with the EU would bring 2.2% of economic growth (surprise, surprise!). Check it out at www.bestforbritain.org
