Our Generation’s Blind Spot

I wanted to touch on a subject that can be sensitive, but important and increasingly relevant: Emotional intelligence is not the same as emotional vulnerability. Music has been a large presence in my life lately, so to kick things off, here's an analogy I find relevant:…
Our Generation’s Blind Spot
I wanted to touch on a subject that can be sensitive, but important and increasingly relevant: Emotional intelligence is not the same as emotional vulnerability. Music has been a large presence in my life lately, so to kick things off, here's an analogy I find relevant: A classically trained musician can read the most complex sheet music. They understand theory, harmony, and can execute a flawless performance of a piece someone else wrote.

I Traded My 5-Year Plan for a Coffee and Found My Mentors: An Astronaut, a CEO, and a Barista

I Traded My 5-Year Plan for a Coffee and Found My Mentors: An Astronaut, a CEO, and a Barista
My life used to be a fortress built of rigid societal expectations. Every goal was a brick, every KPI a layer of mortar. I was the architect, the builder, and the nervous sentry, agonizing over every milestone on a strategic roadmap designed by societal expectation, not by me. Trying to de-risk a future I couldn't predict and calculating the opportunity cost of every connection I missed.

The Antelope Theory

When I was a child, the Geico Antelope with Night Vision Goggles commercial burst onto our classroom YouTube screen as we prepared to watch Bill Nye. It left me rolling with suppressed giggles. Or perhaps it wasn’t just the humor; maybe it was boredom masquerading as desperate…
The Antelope Theory
When I was a child, the Geico Antelope with Night Vision Goggles commercial burst onto our classroom YouTube screen as we prepared to watch Bill Nye. It left me rolling with suppressed giggles. Or perhaps it wasn’t just the humor; maybe it was boredom masquerading as desperate delight, who knows. Either way, it was unforgettable. That ad not only effectively sold insurance to children and adults alike, but it also sold…

The Socratic Paradox of Inquiry

Today I write from the ever bustling airport, the ultimate people watching spot. As always, I have lost myself in musings. I found myself considering the thousands of separate realities that others exist in. As I am sure you have also noticed, the majority of the…
The Socratic Paradox of Inquiry
Today I write from the ever bustling airport, the ultimate people watching spot. As always, I have lost myself in musings. I found myself considering the thousands of separate realities that others exist in. As I am sure you have also noticed, the majority of the public tend to be absorbed by their devices, constantly- regardless if they're walking, sitting, standing, running, etc.

My rather bold take on Market Entry in today's world;)

We're burning the entire playbook.

Industry giants are obliterating traditional boundaries.

As always, please take it with a grain of salt:

My favourite piece of advice from one of my mentors:

The trick to being an entrepreneur is to not let fear and overthinking get in your way.

You have to be a little crazy. It’s scary but absolutely worth it.

Struggling with decisions?

Try the '10-10-10 rule':
How will you feel about your choice in 10 minutes, 10 months, and 10 years?

This simple trick can provide valuable perspective (plus it saves you from a lot of stress;)
