This is so right. The goal of republican party is to destroy Trans community and then the rest of the LGBTQ community. They are the party of hate, and now they are showing their true colors.
You can't believe a trans woman is illegitimately winning women's sports without believing she's illegitimately a woman. The goal is securing that precedent in one context (sports) to apply in all others (bathrooms, IDs, health care, prisons). How they square this with Bostock is TBD
As @katelynburns.com notes, the sports aspect of this is a bit of a smokescreen for what this bill would actually do...

You are allowed to feel hopeless. It is a normal reaction to the world right now. You are allowed to express your hopelessness. You do not, however, get to let your hopelessness kneecap the work that needs to be done.
