I had a few sausage rolls in Scotland and a few in Australia. The Aussie sausage rolls didn’t make me want to cut my tongue out - so I suppose those might go over well in the US…

I struggle with frizz and fixed it by swapping out the shower heads here to really inexpensive ones with filters in them. Skin is better too. I like culligan but love sprite

Also use a heat protectant and sunscreen and never blow dry from wet. Only from damp.

Tragically, I think 2025 is a moment for restraint about public healthcare discussion between patients.
We can get y’all out of prison but if they repeal the ACA we can’t get you hired, protected, or healed.

With every fiber of my being, I hope I am wrong, but I fear I will be proven correct.

I don’t think we’re far from an America where one can be fired for admitting to ADHD or PTSD.
I suspect that discussing depression may soon keep Americans from having robust health insurance.
Do you have RA, IBD, Diabetes, melanoma or migraines? No. No you do not when it’s in writing.

Psychiatry is under attack. The brain worm guy is running things now.

I know how important it is to talk about all the ways we are outliers. I traveled the world talking about a chronic condition.

Be careful. Maybe the Canadians need to take over those discussions for a bit.

They want you pregnant.
Before 2010 pregnancy was a preexisting condition. That’ll be cash please - I hope you have no complications… doesn’t really matter if you’re insured because there are so few people brave enough to be OB/GYNs in this very strange version of America.

We can be sure that Obamacare is one of the next targets.
The ACA eliminated lifetime maximum caps.
Imagine an insurance company saying “you spent $2m, the rest of your cancer treatments aren’t covered.” It has happened.

If you weren’t in the workplace by 2010 it’s hard to imagine

This administration is at war with its own citizens taking away the protections Biden, Obama and Bush put into place (CA-4 - thanks W, it was nice while it lasted).

When you’re paying student loans and going to the *right* bathroom (don’t tap your foot if a closeted GOP senator is there)…

There is so much happening here. I can hardly decide which cretin to focus on.

Everyone is fearful, our healthcare system is run by a lunatic, our education funding has been dismantled & the media is under attack.

I worked my ass off to get dems to the polls - but we failed. I’m sorry and we miss Canadians, even you.

In fairness I’m not particularly nice all the time.

Tourism, especially from snowbirds drives the economy there. Palm Springs is an LGBTQ+ haven and losing Canadians matters to us.

We are fighting for our kids’ rights to exist & for their financial & physical futures.

Palm Springs is suffering. We miss Canadians.
