I'm excited to share the cover of my forthcoming book, out in late January from Cornerstone Press!

I have a few ARCs if anyone is seriously interested in writing a review. Message me if interested!

I don't like the Carson poem, but it's obviously better than the AI poem. Carson's poem takes risks (and probably fails). The AI poem does what, unfortunately, a lot of poems do nowadays--just imitates moves they've seen in other poems. Comparing them is such a bad faith argument.

NPR said if you want to be truly happy you should do chores with friends, so if anyone wants to come help me clean my house let me know.

Our HOA, which last week sent us a letter saying they’re out of money so no longer cutting grass in the common areas, had the nerve to send us a letter and say we needed to cut our grass 😂

Is this a moth with a bug eating it, or a moth with a tail to mimic a bug?

When did the mega million become $5? Trump’s incompetence even caused inflation on the lottery!

One of my biggest misrememberings from childhood was this moment. Until a few months ago I vividly remembered Hulk Hogan, not Lex Luger, doing this.

We rented the tape, probably in the late 90s, from a video store in Idaho that rented out old wrestling matches.

This new Wu-Tang album is really good. It’s not really modern, but classically good.

Poetry Hive Mind: Does anyone know if there’s a textbook or anthology that covers the various schools of poetry over the last 50-70 years? It seems like there should be.

Worth noting today that the entire budget of the NEH is about $200M.
According to acting DOD Comptroller Bryn McDonnell it'll cost $134M for the deployment of the Guard to Los Angeles.

Finches built a nest in the light cover overhanging our front door. The bulb hadnt been working for months. We have another light, in a lamp-fixture to the left of the door, that works, so I never bothered replacing the bulb before the birds built a nest in it. 1/

Chris Judge’s “A Daily Cloud” project began in 2020, born from quiet days in the garden during lockdown. With simple lines and a touch of imagination, he turned everyday skies into playful scenes - one cloud at a time. [1/3]

If a foreign adversary snuck into our Federal budget and cut science research and education the way we’re cutting it ourselves — strategically undermining America’s long-term health, wealth, and security — we would likely consider it an act of war.
