Thank you Liz Kendall and Alex Davies-Jones for acting to stop online platforms profiting off
degrading and misogynistic content normalising strangulation during sex.

Together, we will halve violence against women and girls.

Thank you @waynebavinshow.bsky.social at BBC Radio Suffolk for inviting me on your show to discuss the appalling levels of street-based sexual harassment and domestic sexual abuse that women continue to face.

Great to join the Health Secretary, Mariella Frostrup, and campaigners this week to celebrate the Government's announcement that menopause will be included in free NHS health checks - helping millions more to get the care they need.

I am over the moon that this Labour Government has agreed to bring an end to presumption of contact in the family courts.

I’m delighted the Government have made changes to the Victims Bill following my Amendment 9, which will extend the removal of parental responsibility to serious child sexual abuse offenders who offend against children not in their family.

Thank you to Fair Hearing for your support.

It was an honour to meet Esther Ghey to support her campaign to ban smartphones in schools.

Our children learn better, teachers’ wellbeing improves and safeguarding concerns dramatically decrease when schools implement a ban.

I have tabled 3 amendments to the Victims and Courts Bill.

Two to end the postcode lottery when it comes to accessing services for victims and those that care for them.

And one to allow courts to strip child sexual abusers of their parental responsibility.

Kemi Badenoch’s pledge to repeal the Climate Change Act is playing fire with our childrens’ futures.

It will harm our economic growth and undermines our global credibility.

Proud to sign this letter alongside 124 others.

It was great to join @barnardos.org.uk last week and hear directly from young people and families about the vital role family hubs play in communities and what needs to change to ensure all families can access these important services.

I’m delighted by today’s announcement of investment in Sizewell C by the Labour Government. This is good news for our national energy security, good news for Suffolk’s economic growth, and good news for local jobs, especially for people in Lowestoft!

Two weeks of paternity leave isn’t enough - particularly as 45% of new fathers experience multiple symptoms of depression or anxiety in their baby’s first year.

Today's announcement by the Government means that up to 4,900 children across Lowestoft, Beccles, and the villages will be able to receive Free School Meals from the start of the 2026 school year.

This is the difference a Labour Government makes! 🌹

Putting the voices of care-experienced children and young people at the heart of policy-making is essential.

That's why I was delighted to chair an event in Parliament last night marking three years since the independent review of children's social care.
