I am over the moon that this Labour Government has agreed to bring an end to presumption of contact in the family courts.
I’m delighted the Government have made changes to the Victims Bill following my Amendment 9, which will extend the removal of parental responsibility to serious child sexual abuse offenders who offend against children not in their family.

Today's announcement by the Government means that up to 4,900 children across Lowestoft, Beccles, and the villages will be able to receive Free School Meals from the start of the 2026 school year.
