Spent the last couple of days at Niagara Falls. This is such a beautiful area and we’ve been lucky to have lovely weather. Definitely a place I’d like to come back to in the future.

I was bit by several mosquitoes taking pics in my back yard this evening. Such a pretty sunset. Can’t imagine living any place without these wide open spaces.

I took a few pictures before the big downpour today. We got a bunch of rain this weekend but we still haven’t put our rain gauge up so I don’t know exactly how much.

Making Christmas candies today. Has anyone else made the Jean Paré turtles? They’re so good! We fell in love with them years ago when mom made them the first time and now they’re a nonnegotiable Xmas treat.

I spent many hours on this diamond painting kit and finally finished. It’s been a great way to relax. Looking for a new project now, possibly Xmas themed.

Thoughts after an exhausting weekend:
Our rural Sask school has few extracurricular activities. No football or basketball teams no chess club, no arts programs. The STF sanctions did affect everyone planning grad.
I hope the gov’t will listen to families and prioritize public education.
