…there was no turning back!

Yeah that move to WA was key to everything falling into place!

I’m a bit rusty! Will have to do more to get back in the swing of it. Glad you enjoyed. Would be great to see more in-game activity over here. ❤️

An absolute scrap from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed the coaching from both sides. Hadley best for mine (just a nose ahead of Klau). Looking forward to the return fixture!

Hadley simply hasn’t put a foot or ball wrong today. 👌🏼
May 11, 2025 at 7:33 AM
Watch for both teams to shorten up their leads in this last 8 mins or so.

Bullseye - would like to see her using the ball more out there to make Weston accountable to her.

Q4:

Moloney and Hadley two of the most clinical players with ball in hand, both playing a massive role here in retaining possession for their respective sides.
May 11, 2025 at 7:23 AM
Would LOVE to see the GPS readings for today’s game for both sides. It’s a running race from one end to the other and rights across the width of the court and every change of direction.

Housby has gone quiet again; she needs to find a way to get involved in non-SS time.
May 11, 2025 at 7:05 AM
Surely it’s Caris time… Swifts midcourt have worked things out on court with Hadley’s steady hand; it’s time to disrupt that space.

Q3:

What a grind (complimentary)!
May 11, 2025 at 6:58 AM
Vixens’ commitment to getting to circle edge is what kept them ahead for most of that quarter.
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Swifts need Housby to lift and stay lifted. Was quiet before the time out; came out of it a different player!
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Momentum is swinging with whichever team is doing the prelim work before the ball comes.
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Klau’s footwork to close space and deflect the ball with her outside arm while facing the player is 🔥.
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Simmons’ ball release is almost too fast. Sometimes disrupts timing in through court transition.
them ahead.
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Q2:

Swifts’ second phase is often lateral. Makes it harder and slow to get it to the edge.
May 11, 2025 at 6:40 AM
Loose ball pick-ups is the difference between the two sides to this point.
May 11, 2025 at 6:23 AM
I’d love to see Caris get some time on Nweke today to introduce the Kiwi to some contested ruck craft. Ellis really needs to keep working on keeping Nweke high in the ring.
May 11, 2025 at 6:23 AM
Every single possession is contested - hands and arms are attacking that ball in a frenzy for both sides! That’s creating those turnovers.
May 11, 2025 at 6:23 AM
Q1:

Swifts had a couple of good moments on defensive 2nd phase, with 3 defenders going to Mundy to stop her getting that lethal depth.
May 11, 2025 at 6:23 AM
How good was the energy in the stadium! Such a good vibe. Highlight of the night for me was Ky Robinson’s mum (sitting in front of us) turning to us all and saying “that’s my son!” after he nailed that 5000m. 🥹
