Today is the Christian feast for Julian of Norwich. She happens to be an excellent role model if you wanted justification for living/spending time alone with many books & a cat because in her cell, she wrote the first English book by a woman which is still quoted today 📚 🐈⬛

#showmeyourknits this week is #WIP - 1 blanket, 2 jumpers, 2 hoods, a tank, some wrist warmers & a French press cover ( 🙈) but it’s good to see it all & think about next steps. That’s a lie-I’m thinking about making a new project with this new swatch….but loving seeing the other WIPS from everyone!

Conference day so out and about early. Nice to not be in work clothes for the day & get the last wear of the thick shirt this season. Cold wind so trying the hood I made last week as a proto for a present - gonna pair with some colourful swatches for a more colourful hood next knit. #OOTD #knitsky

Bit late to the party here! Very much enjoying/recommend as it’s a particularly interesting read if you like history *and* fabric. Her book on colour was also very good #booksky
