Used to mountainbike, now committed to handbiking. Interested in pro cycling and that includes all disciplines on all terrain. Sorry for trying to spoil your hot take with nuance.
I'm often on the other side and we try to just get to know a person and allow them to get a feel for us, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Long live the IT branche, where appearances seem to matter less. Apart from trying to avoid the typical nerds that seem incapable of communication, ofcourse 😜.

If he's around, he has a role. Think it's as simple as that. Maybe it's a transitional period towards the end of the year, but I doubt that.

Het is maar een spelletje.

Ik fiets er wel eens doorheen op zondag, op de dijk tussen de lange rokken en mannen in jaren 50 pak.

Die willen dat. Mede mogelijk gemaakt door de kerk indoctrinatie.

Not in Denmark 😅

I’m sorry, I have only seen ‘the Danish model’ used for other policy fields.

I think that should be decided based on the actual value of it and not an election result.

Missed opportunity to add "Here for the tubeless tires on a pro commuter bike" to the "Here for" reactions.

An e-bike with tubeless tires... I guess what she was wearing can be binned now - most sealants are impossible to get out of clothing material. Luckily she escaped unscathed herself.

To keep the scary bike handling, to be a fun watching experience for anyone around a race.

Zou een aantal ook maar meteen een rondleiding in de Tweede Kamer hebben gedaan? Toch een kans die je moet pakken, als je er een keer bent.
November 18, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Sure, but if your goal is to experience your first grand tour, without a lot of expectations, it makes perfect sense. There's little extra pressure, because you won't be the team leader and the default "Belgium" pressure is something he probably got used to by now 😅.

Well on paper, maybe, but the interviews showed a very level headed young man, clearly both up for it and aware of the challenges, both on and off bike.

He is irregular, but his best performances, like on Koppenberg, are impressive. On the road, he's steadily improving, doing occasional brilliant things. It's a shame he crashed in the TDF, as he worked for it and there seemed to be a buzz around him that promised great things.
November 15, 2025 at 3:38 PM
He's thinking "You didn't win that, so don't you dare posing like you did" 😜
November 15, 2025 at 10:06 AM
Don't tell that to the track bike and the CX bike. Happy days for them!
November 14, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Uhm, yeah, I've seen that happen as well, in French races mainly.
November 14, 2025 at 3:42 PM
As much as I would like CX to be a winter Olympics sport, I kind of get the criticizm.

I associate winter sports with mountaineous or cold climate countries, as ways to be active in snow and on ice. CX simply doesn't have that heritage. It's too far fetched.

This made me wonder if Blackadder was on this part of the front. It seems he was! Apparently, in the series, Blackadder is transferred to the Cambridgeshire regimement at the start of the war. The regimental website says they were in Ypres most of the time.
November 10, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Hold on, it wouldn't have been possible without the Germans 😜

(Sorry, had to make that joke...)
November 10, 2025 at 7:23 PM
I seem to have forgotten about the Dauphiné switch... yeah that was bad. Very bad even. If that's a 10 on the bad scale, I'd say the new G-W name is a solid 9.
November 10, 2025 at 2:15 PM
That has got to be one of the few championships the idiots didn't share amongst themselves.
November 9, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Beter dan een begroting in je ...

OK, te slecht, laat maar 😉
November 5, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Geld bijdrukken is de oplossing toch?

Sponsorships are under pressure and teams fold, so riders might be more inclined to get a pro spot by illicit means.

In this case, given the teams he rode for: No surprises. Portugese cycling seems to have a culture problem that needs fixing.
