Wargamer living in Belfast. A fan of Too Fat Lardies rules.
Your own list is impressively eclectic!

All in Belfast, too, though I've also seen Jackson Browne in London.

I could add Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Michael Nesmith, London Wainwright III, Al Stewart, Bruce Cockburn, Emmylou Harris, and the Beautiful South. Maybe others if I thought long enough!

These are great looking games, Jerry. Are the scenarios your own creation, or is there a source book for the Canal Line campaign?

The big problem with hills, in my opinion, is fitting them into a RUB...

Here's your Sicily mat in action. Apologies for the cluttered table!

We received that message at our church in Northern Ireland. Definitely a scam!

We played our Infamy game last night. I'm impressed by the subtle design that seems to give all the advantages to the barbarians, yet it's incredibly difficult for them to make the Romans go away. As the game goes on, the Roman drill and leadership counteract the initial barbarian fervour.

I have only played it a couple of times, both shortly after publication. HOWEVER, I have a game planned in a couple of days, which hopefully will reignite interest within my gaming circle!

Yes, that's the one.

If you're free on weekday evenings and don't mind travelling a bit, there's a game store in Ballyclare with tables available. Fridays are reserved for historical games. I go there from time to time, and I know quite a few of the regulars.

Unfortunately, it is. We're usually wrapped up by 4:30, sometimes earlier.

Next meeting is 30 November. We usually don't meet in December, instead we have two meetings in January - dates tbc.
