I’m the type of researcher who has done some fairly advanced statistics and designed multiple research projects…but every time I start a new project I have to look up even the most basic stat tests. 🫣

“Oooo, this article sounds useful and relevant! …. Oh, I wrote this 4 years ago.”

I guess this means I’ve made it? I’ve done so much that I can’t keep track of my own work? 🙄😂

I haven’t seen as many April Fools jokes this year. Probably because almost no one is in the mood for it. 🫠

Made it to the top of the mountain. I had only planned to try the first part of the trail, but I just kept going until I did the whole thing.

I can't even be excited about this - a potential vaccine for multiple cancers - because the US is trying to dismantle the agencies and systems that would research, regulate, and provide these treatments. #health #healthpolicy #research #vaccines

A neighbor’s cat visits me most mornings. He started showing up right around the time my dog died - I like to think he could tell I could use some company.

Alabama is trying to follow in Louisiana's footsteps and ban public health departments from raising awareness about vaccines. The bill, H367, also criminalizes vaccine advertisements by government entities and county public health departments. #publichealth #healthpolicy #vaccines #PharmSky

In Texas, said one doctor: “We’ve vaccinated multiple kids that have never been vaccinated before, some from families that didn’t believe in vaccines.”

There’s no relationship between net worth and intelligence, goodness, or wisdom.
Years ago, after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, I interviewed a former fb employee, and I remember her continually emphasizing that these tech bros weren't evil geniuses, but were, in fact, dangerous because they were utterly clueless, totally reckless, and had too much power.
