The front door of our music store has needed painting for awhile. I got a little fixated on this as a distraction from all the 💩 in the world. I'm pretty happy with the result. There should be no question that we sell guitars. 😊 🎵🎸🎨

Our cherry tree is covered this year. We managed to get a giant bowl picked today in spite of the pillaging cedar waxwings and squirrels.

Mowed my lawns today, and I couldn't help missing this, sweetheart. She used to follow my every step when I mowed or did anything, really. Everyone should have the love of one really great dog in their lifetime, and she was mine.

I have been so distracted by politics lately I've found it hard to paint. Just starting to get back into it, and I promise to post more art. Here's one I did last year. I was going to paint over it today, but after having another look, I don't think I will. 20x20 #acrylic on canvas. 🎨🦋

I recommend this book. It lists which trees attract particular species. Diversity in planting is the key. My small town backyard is full of birds and small mammals. Also, a water source and shade if you want amphibians. Birch trees and fruit vines and bushes...Grape, raspberry, etc.
