Had to get out of the apartment to do some planning and sketching and got a window seat at one of the nicest cafés in #turku. And although it’s late afternoon it feels like late evening.. the light art at the riverside is on point!

I was a bit sad yesterday. I thought I’d left my favorite scarf in the bus and it was lost. Today I decided to go for a walk, and there my scarf was, hanging on a traffic sign! I was so happy I shed a little tear 🥲 thanks kind stranger who picked it from the ground and left it for me to find ❤️

I’ve been swimming 3-4 days a week for 6 weeks. Started at 1k, and now I’m doing 1,2k. I’ve had 50 % less migraine, and could decrease the use of triptans. My 11 year old just told me I look ”maybe a bit thinner and much more energetic”. I guess I have to keep this up now for the rest of my life 😅

October is rhinestone month 💎 once again I’m gluing thousands of these on my daughter’s gymnastics costume, so that the whole troupe shines on the mat. On Saturday the competition season starts. And these are a nice #visualstim too.. rhinestone #asmr 💎😁 #crafts #costume

I have a group exhibition coming up in January, and about 5-6 paintings that are all half done but potential candidates for the exhibition. Took some closeups of parts that I like about them today to sort of remind myself what I want to do.. we’ll see how they end up! #painting #workinprogress #art

What a superduper day and it’s only 14.42. The morning was frosty and I went swimming 1k. After that a visit to a book release at Mökkigalleria in Kaarina. The feeling there is always so warm and welcoming 🧡 Now I’m hanging out with the fam the rest of the day ❤️

This rainbow is telling me that going to the swimming pool after work today was a great idea. The post-swim euphoria also says so 💪🥰🌈 Also there was a really nice community feeling in there today. People were nice and polite. Even some words exchanged with strangers 🩵

Climbed up the little hill in the forest today. But since I still have trouble walking (now my heel), I decided to get a 4 month swimming+gym card to get enough exercise. I love swimming, but don’t love all the hassle with getting there, locker rooms, crowded lanes, ill fitting swim wear etc.

Climbed up the little hill in the forest today. But since I still have trouble walking (now my heel), I decided to get a 4 month swimming+gym card to get enough exercise. I love swimming, but don’t love all the hassle with getting there, locker rooms, crowded lanes, ill fitting swim wear etc.

I have to go out and work in cafés more. So much better focus, creative thinking and clarity. Perfect amount of stimulation for my brain. I’ve been reading up on narrative analysis methodology, and it feels like I made some good connections to my material. Anyway, a moment when writing felt easy.
