My dog does not like rain.

This is my dog, Mackey. He is worn out because he spent the day attacking my yard tools, barking ferociously and biting them.

What is this #fossil? We received a box of them today and it's reported to be from Poland. I have no leads.

I am a huge #planetarium lover, so debuting the best show that I've ever been a part of is a really big deal! Vincent's Starry Sky debuted last week at @spfldmuseums.bsky.social !

Coworkers and I attended the #GovernorsConference on #TravelAndTourism today. It was enlightening and really drove home what incredible financial impact #museums can have on their communities. #ScienceMuseums were, as usual, woefully under represented. We need to work on this.

I would like to stay home and cuddle this bean today instead of facing the world.

This morning these ice crystals reminded me of Narnia and how it feels to be waiting for Aslan to come back and winter to end.

Happy #SuperbOwlSunday! I found these feathers in my driveway within a few days of each other. Our #STEM Curator says the fringed edges probably indicate they came from an owl. I thought I'd been hearing an owl a few weeks before while #moongazing. Especially cool for a city dweller.

Our STEM Curator is back in action at last and I am so grateful.

We have aquariums full of newly arriving baby fish! Our Living Waters exhibit opens in less than two weeks!

For a couple weeks coworkers have been asking me if I'm playing D&D. Nope, I'm prototyping an interactive about the potential journey of a water droplet.

Went on a great date today starting at the #BeneskiMuseum. What an amazing #fossil collection, including the one from Pliny Moody's farm! Then a bookstore followed by pasta. Love spending time with this guy so much. He's as lovable as he is interesting.

I work in a midsize science museum. In 2023 we upgraded our historic planetarium to include a full-dome digital projection system. We're wrapping up a complete remodel of our live animal exhibit. It now tells a cohesive story and creates more natural habitats. Both funded by federal earmarks.
