The last few times I have been to Wendy’s they have gotten my order wrong - even after I have reviewed it with the person taking the order more than once. Their customer service doesn’t offer refunds when they screw up.

I had a maternity den of foxes one spring and they would take dog toys out of the back yard to play with. Some disappeared with them.

She returned to Phoenix with 9 pairs of size 9AAAA Ferragamo loafers that she paid about 30% of US retail for. The US Customs Officer asked her a lot of questions until my father came up and said “If you wore that size and found that sale, wouldn’t you buy every shoe they had?”

My mother had very weird feet and discovered that Ferragamo loafers in 9AAAA fit them perfectly. She went to Brussels once with my father and stumbled on a Ferragamo store with a sale. She bought 2 pairs of shoes. My father asked her how many more they had on sale in her size.

The way I understand it, you have to be enrolled in a high deductible plan to have an HSA - so if you can’t afford coverage at all, it isn’t going to help you at all - unless they change the HSA rules. It is also not going to help people who have other types of plans.

I hate the political people doing weekly meme dumps on Facebook. So much misinformation and so much poor understanding of history and how government works. Also so many terrible sources given credibility.

I am pretty sure that is what Lennie would do in order to see what the mouse was doing and eat the peanut butter. He has snapped enough of the snap traps in his face trying to eat the bait.

So many Hessian troops deserted during the American Revolutionary War that mercenary armies got the reputation in Europe for being unreliable. This lead to countries returning to having their own standing armies and the rise of engineering schools.

There is a certain point where extreme gerrymandering backfires and you lose more seats than you would with either fair maps or the status quo.

Great - you live somewhere with functional Target stores managed by people who want customers to shop there. I do not. Which is why even if they bring diversity back, I am unlikely to spend any money at Target.

The only places I ever see employees in the Target stores near me is at the checkout and the pharmacy.

You have a Target near you where those actually work? Not happening in the ones near me. Also they don’t bring up sale prices or information about gift cards in return for purchases.
