Is the EU hinting at compromise on youth mobility deal as per headlines last week? Not really.
The European Commission proposed a scheme allowing young people to travel in EU/UK for up to four years.
EU diplomats say no position agreed yet. Options being discussed include three years.

As we reported in July an EU-UK summit has been pencilled in for spring 2025.
The summit would be between Keir Starmer and leaders of the EU institutions, rather than the EU27.
