What a fun surprise that the BBC Doctor Who Prom I'd broadcast free online!

What a lovely ride by Collett and London 52!

Someone should maybe tell NBC's videographers that close up, front on shots of dressage riders' hands is maybe not ideal.

Please let it be Harris/Buttigieg.

Love it when the garden starts to come on. Kale, peppers, zucchini, and kohlrabi tonight. A tomato and greenbeans for tomorrow!

Time for the Tony's! (Sad to see that Best Book in a Musical was relegated to the pre-show. :( )

More severe weather gearing up for tonight, but right now it's a lovely afternoon for some polo. Wichita vs Tulsa.

Don't get me wrong, Gatwa's an excellent Doctor and the new episodes are a fun spectacle...but I can't help but feel like the scale has gotten completely out of hand. I miss the more intimate stories (even when the whole world was at stake) and slightly more serious tone.

My dogs are real worried about the pup in Fallout.

I vote that more scientific findings should be presented through interpretative dance. :)

Weird clouds...and a tornado warning (again).

Short plays written by women in Kansas and Missouri. Not a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Yeah for a virtual Dead Boy Detectives premier (and Q&A with the showrunner and Neil Gaiman)!

Surprise day off work. "Yeah! A whole day to do nothing but write-- Shit, it's April and I haven't filed my taxes." (Spending my day with TurboTax instead of Final Draft. :( )

Horses have impeccable timing. Just when I think I have my life under control to travel out of the country on Thurs...Merlin comes up for breakfast this morning all "Hey, Mom, I seem to be bleeding."

Since all my streaming services failed me, at least Deadline is live blogging the Oscars.

The Wicked trailer makes this whole Super Bowl party thing worth it!

Surprised I remembered how to put on a saddle after 10 weeks off due to unreasonable amounts of rain and snow. (Still not quite dry, but we both had cabin fever and needed to get out of the barn.)

Your dream of becoming a writer isn't stupid. It isn't unreachable. It isn't a pipe dream. And it isn't a waste of time.

Don't believe anyone who tells you that it is. They're drawing from their failed dreams, not yours.

Plotting large ensemble historical fantasy pilots is hard. Why do I do this to myself again???

So glad it's rained a couple more inches...the mud was starting to get dehydrated.

Running water seems like nothing special...until you don't have any for 13 days. Kudos to the guys who fixed the broken pipe in my barn (and installed a shut-off valve since whoever ran the plumbing initially didn't bother).

Apparently I'm going to have to attend a Super Bowl party again this year.

Love when theaters offer live stream options. Worked all day in Kansas City...but still getting to watch the staged reading of Nathan Johnson's The Dummies Guide to Murdering Your Husband taking place in Asheville, NC (and I don't even have to get up off my couch!).
